American Medical Transport, Inc. doing business as Central Coast Ambulance was founded in 1995 to provide non-emergency ambulance transport services. It is currently a family owned business providing Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulance throughout Santa Cruz County and with specialized services in Monterey County.

Central Coast Ambulance has built a reputation for patient care, patient safety and reliable service. Ambulances are late model Ford Transits or Mercedes Sprinters that are certified by the CHP for patient care equipment and vehicle safety.

We offer 24/7/365 dispatch services and ambulances are strategically located at local area hospitals to provide the best possible dispatch experience.

Central Coast Ambulance accepts all insurance plans including MediCare and MediCal. Our staff will assist to ensure all possible covered services are recovered from plans. For non-covered services or no insurance we offer a discounted rate. Credit cards and checks are accepted.
